Onefeed uses a 30 day cookie tracking system, which is the industry standard. In essence this means that we pick up the sales when someone returns back to your website up to 30 days from their last click. Using cookie technology enables us to pick up those sales that you might not be able attribute with other tracking systems. Our cookie is updated every time a shopper clicks on each of your products. We will only give the sale to the last referring website, which alleviates the issue of multiple sites claiming the sale for themselves. The result is that your tracking data is as accurate as it can be. The Onefeed system records the CPC that you paid for the click, so we can match the click costs accurately to every sale and give you the exact cost of the sale. Most tracking systems do not take into account the cost of the click and therefore you are only left with half the picture.
By recording the click costs and the sales data we offer you the ability to make informed decisions about partner sites / subcategories and products. By having accurate cost of sale data you can cut the non-profitable areas and streamline your campaign. We want to ensure that every part of your campaigns are optimised with no wastage. it is common for some of our feds to have 60% of the products removed, leaving just the best performing products, this makes for a very profitable campaign.
