Product Level CPC Bidding Tools
The Onefeed system has the minimum CPC levels of all the shopping sites. Some sites are simply just a flat cost for all products, whereas others have a complicated bidding system, where you can bid at a product or subcategory level to influence your positioning within the listings. For more information about which sites have product level bidding please click here. Within the product and subcategory reports you can see the minimum CPC level that is required. if you see a category performing especially well then it is normally advisable to increase the CPC you are paying to 'buy' more traffic to the relevant area. Shopping sites have a complicated algorithm that dictates where you appear. A major part of the shopping site algorithm is the CPC you are paying. Often if you are selling the same products as someone else, but you are paying more, you will appear above them in the listings. Obviously if you are selling lots of a product you will want this on the first page of results, or at the top. By increasing your bid you can achieve this change.
Managing your CPC bids is a vital part of fine tuning your performance. This area is often ignored by most merchants and is something that using our system can be conquered very easily. These simple changes can make a real difference to your ROI.
