Feed Management Solutions

If you need to optimise your feed, get EANs, add custom labels or simply just automate the export process from your site to Google we’ve got you covered.

Feed Optimisation

Onefeed have been managing client data for nearly 2 decades. In a violently evolving ecommerce world with the reliance on AI and automation for bidding the most important element of your campaigns is now the product feed. The feed is essnetially your ad copy as well as the keyword rich content that your products will be found through.

Optimising your feed now comes in lots of options from title optimisation to custom labels. We give you the power to change the feed in any way you want. Be it from title length optimisation to adding quality long string product types we have you covered.

We let you control and manage all these elements through the platform:

Product Title A/B Testing

Optimising titles is a critical element of feed management. We offer you the ability to rotate product titles on a fixed rotation giving you a clear picture of the best titles. Once you’re happy with the best performer you simply turn off the title rotation. It’s a great way of finding winners and giving your titles the keyword rich detail often missing.

Currently we’re experiementing with an AI generated product title that can be input to our titles so that it takes the legwork and creative requirements. Watch this space!

EAN Validation and Backfilling

Barcodes / EAN / GTIN / UPC, all the same thing. Annoying yes, but also necessary. Search engines use these 13-15 character codes to join and aggregate the same items together. It’s a way of classifying items that are the same for price comparison services. Ultimately these are need by Google and will help improve the quality of the data.

Over the years the relaince at Google for using this data has become more important. We’re aware that sometimes the data is just not there in the database and who really has the time or the resources to go looking for loads of EAN values??

We have a large database of products, in excess of 10m currently. We’re able to use our algorithms to find the right EAN your products. Sinply click accept and the EANs will be added into feed. No fuss.

If you’re unsure if the EANs you have are valid or Google are rejecting items for invalid EAN then we can validate these items for you before sending to Google. Strip out the bad ones and the item gets accepted.

Rules and Custom Labels

Over the years we’ve had client feeds that have in excess of 1000 optimisation rules. This sadly is usually a result of a poor quality feed export from their intentory. Sometimes this is just unavoidable but we’re here to help. Rules are a critical element to managing feeds. This has become even more relevant through custom labels that are a critical part of campaign optimisation. With our agency heritage we know that 5 custom labels is never enough. Using rules to write your custom labels can make a massive difference in differentiating items within campaigns and optimise the performance. Maybe you want to have a campaign just for new items. By using our rules for ‘date created’ you can auatomatically add items to specifc campaigns. There’s a multitude of options with rules, it just needs planning…..

Take a look below on how we can implement rules into the feed using perforfmance data. This is a game changer in the world of automated bidding.

Campaign Filtering and Management

PMax is a fantastic source of revenue at a great cost of sale. When digging below the surface it exposes some pretty shocking data. The image to the right shows a pretty normal report for our clients in PMax. It’s sadly not uncommon to see more than 80-90% of a client’s product getting zero clicks. PMax is very good at delivering sales, however this often comes at the detriment of visibility.

With our campaign reporting and data analysis tools we created a feed performance filter that allows you to split products into specific campaigns based on click / impression / performance data. This creates a custom label in the feed that can be used for filtering at the item level. We find this type of filtering most useful for pushing items into Google Shopping rather than PMax due to each campaign type works and performs.

Use rules in a sophistacted way to extract the most value from each campaign type…..

Datafeed Quality Scoring

Want to know how good / bad your feed is? We’ve got a feed quality checker that gives you feedback on issues such as bad EAN / duplicate data and simply bad quality missing data points. Gives you feedback on the problems that Google have with the data.
